High School Programming
Allow Rise Together to join your efforts to reach all 250+ students in a teacher or counselor's caseload. Although college mentors are the face of programming, the Rise Together Director is a veteran K-12 school counselor with over 35 years of experience working with first-generation, low-income students. All programming is designed to exceed core SEL standards and provide academic support, college/financial aid application guidance, financial literacy, exposure to career development, internship opportunities, and standardized test preparation.
Allow our team to provide your teachers/school counselors with the support needed to reach the initiatives outlined by your district and state. Our Fall, Spring and Summer programs provide continuity in programming and partner with students throughout their junior and senior years. Educators can nominate a student to participate in the Rise Together Pathways Program, which is offered outside of school hours. Alternatively, high schools can partner directly with Rise Together to implement a comprehensive guidance curriculum during the school day.
When implementing an in-school mentoring program both in-person or virtually, session agendas are provided to teachers for approval prior to each meeting. Agendas clearly indicate the time spent on each core standard addressed during the session so educators can easily provide the district with an end-of-the-year summary that supports re-certification criteria.
In order to extend the reach of our team, quality guest speakers work directly with 11-12th grade students throughout each of the three semesters. Speakers often include:

An optional Community Service Day allows high school students to design their own Day of Caring where they co-create a service day within their local community. Often, students choose to create a mentoring day for elementary or middle school students in their district. 11-12th graders seek to share the impact of their mentoring experience with younger versions of themselves' and give back to the teachers that had a huge impact on their pre-high school life. Other successful projects include supporting homeless shelters, mental health initiatives, SPCA sites, and programs to promote social justice in the community.

Testimonials
I really enjoyed working with you this year. It was a growing experience for both of our organizations. As Co-Directors I really loved working with each of you and that says something amazing about your reliability and how professional you are!

I enjoyed the partnership with Rise Together this year. I think the students, for the most part, responded well to the facilitators and found the time with them to be beneficial. In planning ahead for next year (specifically with the rising seniors), I know that they will need a lot more assistance with college applications and essays because of the way this school year ended. Having college workshop days will definitely be needed. Other lessons/activities that align with AVID objectives or topics that we address (time management, communication (with teachers), stress management, self-advocacy, etc.) will also be helpful. Overall, this was a great experience. Thank you for working with us!"
