College Educators/ PartnersRise Together has been collaborating with college/ university partners to provide undergraduate students with meaningful service experiences that make a lasting difference in the lives of diverse students working to navigate the often daunting college admissions process.
College partners rely on Rise Together to train and support undergraduate mentors so they can gain the experiences and service learning opportunities needed to thrive in the workforce. Programming is offered around college students' busy schedules and mentors can take on leadership roles within the organization including: social media coordinator, team leader, program coordinator, grant writer, outcome coordinator, recruitment coordinator, and more. Explore the many ways we help colleges/ universities exceed their community engagement initiatives while placing undergraduate mentors at the forefront of programming.

High School EducatorsTeachers and school counselors work hard to serve all students in their case load but sometimes 11-12th grade students need additional support. The unfortunate reality is student-counselor ratios are as high as 400:1. Additionally, first-generation, limited-income and underrepresented students face 'Post-COVID' challenges that take a village to address. Rise Together's Director, a veteran school counselor with over 35 years of experience, fully understands an educator's commitment to meeting the needs of all students in their caseload.
Rise Together has the capacity and ability to create school specific classroom guidance programs for teachers, guidance professionals and districts. We have been serving AVID communities throughout Virginia and Boston Public Schools for over eight years. Classroom teachers rely upon us to supplement their SEL and academic initiatives. School counselors look toward Rise Together to provide weekend and after school guidance to juniors and seniors striving to attend college. Allow our near-peer mentoring teams to reinforce your curriculum in an authentic and genuine way that reaches students on a new level.
