We are proud to announce that Rise Together is partnering with the University of Virginia and Northeastern University to provide first-generation, low-income high school students living throughout the nation with weekly mentorship, college admissions guidance, scholarship search assistance and financial aid application support.
Rise Together has created programming that fully engages students both in-person and remotely. Our 2020-21 student cohorts yielded a 98% freshman acceptance rate into premier universities across the nation with a financial aid package that enables them to attend.
Rise Together Nonprofit Programs
K-12 Classroom MentoringRise Together is a nonprofit, outcome-driven team mentoring program that connects college student with first-generation and low-income K-12 youth. Highly trained Rise Together mentoring teams provide weekly targeted academic support, social-emotional learning, workforce and college readiness, and civic engagement opportunities designed to lessen barriers to postsecondary attainment, support teachers, and build novel collaborative relationships between leading universities and the community. Rise Together believes we have a shared responsibility to mentor, inspire and lead the next generation of global leaders.

Senior PathwaysRise Together's college guides deliver intensive 12-week virtual mentoring that provides first-generation low-income high school seniors around the country with a powerful individual mentorship team, college readiness support, and college, scholarship and financial aid guidance. All rising senior participants will gain not only receive targetting guidance but will also participate in guest speaking workshops lead by professionals in the education space. By the end of the 12 week summer program, students will have a comprehensive college list, complete their college essays, apply for QuestBridge/Posse when appropriate, and understand all components of the financial aid application.
